Dallas spring wedding with the baby’s breath arch of your dreams

Rachel + Ethan | March 2022

Intentional and joyful are the two main words that come to mind when I think back on Rachel & Ethan’s wedding day. With The Springs Mansion venue in Valley View, TX as their backdrop, we planned and designed the perfect Spring wedding that blended a sunset-inspired color palette, with thoughtful details, and all of the baby’s breath! For Rachel & Ethan — it was all about celebrating the start of their lives together with the people who mean the most to them.

With Rachel and Ethan both being OU grads and new residents of the Dallas area, Valley View, TX was the perfect spot for their primarily Oklahoma crowd to gather and celebrate them. The neat thing about The Springs venue in Valley View, is that it was an existing estate. Full of traditional character and charm, it wasn’t solely created to be a wedding venue, but it still every consideration covered to host large events. Some favorite features that come to mind are the traditional furniture pieces throughout the various rooms, the spacious bridal suite and grooms suites, the wall of windows overlooking the back of the property, and the massive oak trees that provide shade and coverage to cocktail hour and a beautiful backdrop to photos. The roaming cows near the front of the property aren’t a bad touch either!

When asked about her planning experience, specifically in working with LNC, Rachel said, “Working with Lexie was really easy- we told her our wishes and she executed. I was type A and she allowed me to stay in the loop and involved as much as I wanted to be, which was perfect for me!” Funny enough, the majority of my brides are type A — and I love it! Your wedding day and planning process won’t be nearly as meaningful without you involved. And with the way I structure the process, I aim to provide support in the ways you actually want & need to be supported (which changes for each couple!) Planning with Rachel was fun because she was was decisive and organized, but was open to design ideas and was trusting in the logistics and details.

Above all, Rachel & Ethan truly kept their planning process and their day in perspective. It was all about honoring and celebrating the start of their marriage — and celebrate we did! Cheers to the Smiths!

— LNC
